From what I have seen so far Hannah's (paintings) designs are beautiful. I have always loved the vibrant colors that I have seen in the WIP photos of other stitchers that have worked on her designs and I took this opportunity to try one for myself.
I am really loving the way this pattern is working up. I also tried something new and began this project in the bottom left and I'm really glad I did because this is where the crab happened to be and it is so nice to start a project and actually see something materialize rather than have background or just an indistinguishable blob.
So page 7 is completed and now I just have to decide if I am going to work up the right side towards the top or just continue along the bottom row.
Until next time, happy stitching
What a brilliant design! Those colors are stunning =)
ReplyDeleteYou made an amazing start on it =)
It's gorgeous, I've got a couple of her designs and can't wait to work on them. Happy stitching
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the WIPocalypse! I've added you to the participant list. Looking forward to your progress posts. I have some HAEDs in progress, too - but I'm so slow with them!
ReplyDeleteHappy stitching,
Measi
Nice start--I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteYes it's nice to have something you can see rather than a blob. It looks good and I can't wait to see your progress.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the Curl up with a Good Book. I'm telling myself NO new patterns!
oh what wonderful vibrant colors! I think you have just turned me onto trying one for myself :) I love to paint as well as stitch and this design reminds me of modern acrylic paintings that I love.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your progress :)
